Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. Who we are
Savor (the "Service") is operated by Savor (referred to as "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you are entering into a contract with Savor. You can contact us at support@savor.app.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms.
3. What Savor does
Savor is an AI-powered cooking companion. It learns your taste from your onboarding answers and ratings, suggests recipes based on what is in your fridge, builds shopping lists and, on paid plans, plans your week and optimises for a budget. Recipes, nutrition estimates and cost estimates are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for general information only.
4. Plans, payment and our reseller
Savor offers a Free plan and paid monthly subscriptions (currently Plus at £5.99/month and Pro at £9.99/month). Current plans and features are shown on our Pricing page.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
5. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Tell us immediately at support@savor.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- engage in fraud, send spam, or impersonate any person;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of anyone, including in the ingredients, notes or briefs you submit;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Service, including by introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, scraping, or bypassing rate or plan limits;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the Service or any part of it;
- use the AI features to generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive (including deepfakes), or that attempts to circumvent ("jailbreak") the model's safeguards.
7. AI-generated content
- Outputs (recipes, taste summaries, plans, cost and nutrition estimates) are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for you. Always check ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures and food-safety guidance yourself. Savor is not medical, dietary or professional advice.
- You are responsible for the prompts and information you enter, for having the rights to any content you submit, and for how you use the outputs.
- Subject to these terms, you may use the outputs generated for you for personal, non-commercial purposes. We do not claim ownership of your inputs.
- If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, email support@savor.app with details and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
- We may filter, refuse, remove or restrict inputs or outputs, and suspend accounts, to enforce these terms.
8. Intellectual property and licence
The Service, including its software, design, branding, documentation and all underlying models, prompts and databases, is owned by Savor or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service within the plan you have chosen. You grant us a limited licence to host and process the content you submit (for example fridge items, ratings and briefs) solely to provide and improve the Service for you.
9. Availability and warranties
We work hard to keep Savor running but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these terms.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you materially breach these terms, if your subscription payment fails and is not remedied, if we reasonably believe your account presents a security or fraud risk, or for repeated or serious violations of our acceptable-use rules. You may close your account at any time. When access ends we will delete or anonymise your personal data in line with our Privacy Notice; contact us within 30 days if you would like an export of your recipes and ratings first.
12. Changes
We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision is found unenforceable the rest remain in effect.
